Weighing In

I should be more excited than I am at present. I've done a lot of interesting things over the past few days. I saw the new Alice in Wonderland; it was a midnight show, and I dressed up as the Mad Hatter. Spock and I drove up to Lombard to go to a wake for his step-mom's grandfather; while that isn't exciting, it certainly is interesting. I met a lot of his family members there, and they gave me lots of hugs, and actually paid attention to me. Today, Spock and I, along with my mom and sisters, went to a birthday/retirement party for my papa. Spock met a lot of my relatives, who proceeded to ignored both he and I for the duration of the day. We came home and watched Seven Pounds, which, from what I can see, glorifies suicide as long as it's for a so-called noble cause. In my view--and I am allowed to have this view, considering that I've attempted suicide a number of times--is that suicide is never noble. Suicide is selfish. Impersonating an IRS agent is illegal, not virtuous. That movie didn't move me, it just pissed me off.
I did, however, like the idea of giving away pieces of oneself. That interests me. The part about giving them to random people, not so much.
Here are my seven pounds:
1. My kidneys, to Spock, who needs them more than I do.
2. My lungs, to Nonny, because all the smoking has destroyed hers.
3. My legs, to that boy in the wheelchair who always sits in the lobby at school, waiting for his ride; no-one ever talks to him...
4. My writing, all of it, to any publisher that will have it, so long as all the proceeds go towards mental health research.
5. My heart, to Severe, my dad, because he clearly needs a new one.
6. My hair, to the next person in my family/circle of friends who gets cancer and has to go through chemo.
7. My blood, to the Red Cross; maybe they'll figure out some way to actually get it out of my body and use it.

Everybody Was Kung-Fu Fighting

Spock and I went on a date today, an actual date. He took me to see Ninja Assassin, which was much better than I thought it would be. For example, it actually had a plot, instead of ninjas just mindlessly appearing and kicking the shit out of people. They did some major damage, but the movie explained why. And I'm not going to tell you, because you have to go see it yourself. The main protagonist, Raizo, is played by a Korean actor named Rain. He's a pop star in real life, and has a very unique and unforgettable face. In other words, a total babe. So, check out this video of one of his songs, Nappun Namja. As you can see, Michael Jackson is a big influence.

He sure cleans up well
So, fittingly, we will have Seven Sweet Little Ninjas!!!!

"The most serious problem is always the one you didn't anticipate."

I'm feeling rather lazy tonight, so I will instead share with you one of my many papers. This one was written when I was a junior in high school.

“The most serious problem is always the one you didn't anticipate.” –Anonymous

I believe that no matter how diligently one plans ahead, there will always be some unanticipated problem. And of course, that singular snag will inevitably be the most troublesome of all, and could be the pitfall to the entire project. This attitude may make me appear a pessimist, but I beg to differ. Although I am, indeed, a pessimist, my conviction in this particular statement merely confirms me a realist. I have encountered many problems based on the aphorism above.
For example, imagine that you are running in a race. You huff along, almost to the finish line, when suddenly a lunatic jumps out of a bush and tackles you to the ground. More likely than not, you wouldn’t have predicted that this very odd event would occur, but it may well be the worst thing that could happen. Having a crazy person spring from a shrubbery and attack you would probably hurt your chances of finishing the race, and you may not even live through the experience. Thankfully, this has not happened to me, but as a paranoid, neurotic person, I have actually believed it could happen. Unfortunately, because I have already anticipated the appearances of odd characters on the racetrack, something even worse, and, of course, unanticipated, will ruin my chances of finishing a race.
However, despite what this particular adage implies, we can’t live our lives expecting the worst to happen. Because, as it also states, we can never truly anticipate what horrible disasters will occur.

Androgyny Suits Me

Today, Spock and I were sitting in the back of his truck during a break at school. I may not have mentioned this, but I look somewhat like a boy, despite my ample bosum, and I dress in a non-gender-specific fashion a majority of the time. Which, I believe, is why passers-by thought that Spock was gay and that I was his boyfriend. The poor dear... I also haven't mentioned that I am bisexual, and quite a bit more into girls. That probably will come into play one of these days. I'm just glad we weren't harassed or anything, because I certainly would have put up a fight. I don't wear these terrifying stompy boots for nothing.

My Glorious JtHM Stompy Boots!

Well, that's pretty much what mine look like; I think that they may have been discontinued.

A list?
My Seven Favorite Bisexuals in the Media!

1. Hans Christian Anderson: SWEET!
2. Andy Dick
3. Vin Diesel: It's a rumor, but I take what I can get.
4. Elton John: His relationships speak for him; I don't care if people think he's simply gay.
5. Billie Joe Armstrong
6. Melanie B: Yes, Scary Spice.
7. Drew Barrymore: She is such a babe...

I decided on seven because I hadn't used that one yet. Top tens get boring when overused...
